Warm Welcome / Generosity

Warm Welcome

The welcome mats were displayed at Immanuel, Greenbrier and West Race, Searcy last week. Sunday morning I was welcomed by all ages (9 to 93). The church has a great knowledge of our state mission work. They were enthusiastic about the report and responded to the preaching with a number in the altar. A nine year old made known her profession of faith after being saved at GMA Camp. The church is filled with special friends. Gaylon King is providing great leadership. His wife, Peggy, was in the service and doing well after her recent health problems.

The reception was equally warm at West Race where Pastor Jackie Manasco is doing a great work. This church is good to missions and a good group to preach to with several in the altar. If these churches make everyone feel as welcome as they did Renna and me, they will attract a lot into their fellowships.

First Baptist in Caldwell

Larry Haynes is serving as Interim Pastor. These people have been kind to invite me as a guest many times. They are dear friends and I look forward to the service with them on Sunday morning.

Generosity

We have received generous offerings from both small and large congregations. Pastors and Christian workers have given personal gifts investing in the souls of the lost. We may not reach our goal but I am so heartened by your generosity in these difficult economic times. The BMA of Arkansas is an association of caring people. They are committed to building the base and reaching souls for Christ here in the state and abroad. I am glad for the privilege of being associated with you.
