VOTE

Do not forget to exercise this important right as an American. This election is one of deep concern. There are so many issues that we are faced with…the economy, the war, abortion, religion, re-distribution of wealth. For an ordinary citizen it is hard to distinguish what is right and what is politics. I will vote my convictions as a Christian. My confidence is still in the Lord. HE is sovereign over the whole Earth. His will is going to be ultimately accomplished. What a comfort in some very unsettling times!

State Association Meets November 6 & 7

I look forward to the fellowship and the worship. Gary Sandlin will preach the annual message. There will be good singing and devotionals. The Brotherhood and WMA meetings will provide good worship.

I look forward to the business. Plans will be laid out to accomplish great things as Christ’s servants this year. The BMA of Arkansas is working hard to fill a vital role in our Lord’s work. There is not a finer group of people to cooperate with in a common effort. My visits in many of our churches have been very encouraging to me. Thank you for the privilege of serving you.
