“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5; KJV)

ONE cold night, as an Arab sat in his tent, a Camel thrust the flap of the tent aside, and looked in.

“I pray thee, master,” he said, “let me put my head within the ten, for it is cold without.”

“By all means, and welcome,” said the Arab; and the Camel stretched his head into the tent.

“If I might but warm my neck, also,” he said, presently.

“Put your neck inside,” said the Arab. Soon the Camel, who had been turning his head from side to side, said again:

“It will take but little more room if I put my fore legs within the tent. It is difficult standing without.”

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; (Eph. 1:15-16, KJV)

It is 8:15 pm as I sit in my office going over the monthly reports for January which LaJuana had placed on my desk earlier. One report consisted of several pages of the names of churches that supported this ministry during January.  The number caused me to count them. As the number climbed my eyes began to water as I viewed all those who have deliberately made state missions a part of their ministry.  North, east, south, west and all in between there was God’s people not only bombarding heaven with prayer for our missionaries, but going as far as to put legs on those prayers. Out of 350 churches, 240 of God’s beautiful blood bought churches gave during January. Brothers and Sisters that’s amazing!  I am humbled by your love and generosity for this department.  We not only appreciate your support, we desperately need it. 

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” (John 4:35, KJV)

As we enter into February the year 2012 is off and running. Exciting things are happening throughout your state mission work.  Already this week alone we have had nine professions of faith reported.  Bro. Bobby and I will be sitting down this week with an architect concerning the first phase of their building program.

Connection Point is making preparations for their launch service March 4th. Troy ministered in the Magnolia area over the week-end. Darrin is making visits and looking for a home in the Fort Smith area. Michael and our Hispanic work is progressing and growing in stability.  As you can read below, God is truly blessing in the area of state missions.  Please continue to pray that God will continue to reveal Himself in a mighty way.
