“As we look back on the month of June we thank the Lord for what he has
done. He blessed us 13 professions of faith, 5 baptisms, and 3 to join by letter. Our offerings are getting more consistent and we are moving forward in developing a plan to get more people involved in doing the work of the ministry. It is exciting to serve the Lord.”

“We rejoice that 5 kids were saved this week. God has been blessing us abundantly. When we begin this work we started with 25 in attendance. Each week have more people. Our offerings have averaged about $300 each week.

“Thank you for remembering us in prayer.”

Church should always be about the Lord. It is not about us. It is not about men getting their way. It is about humbling ourselves under God’s leadership and worshipping Him. You can have church without worshipping Him but you will never enjoy church that way. May God help us be an unashamed people that are sold out to our Savior. Then, as we worship Him, our love for one another will be real.

Building the Base

What a joy to be at Bethel # 1 in Rison Sunday. They had their World Missions Sunday and received a very good offering. They are also very kind to me and State Missions. They understand that our expanding world mission program must be supported by an expanding base at home. America is the largest English speaking mission field in the world. The burden for the salvation of souls should move us to witness to our neighbors. Winning people to Christ and teaching them the Word of God is to be the main thrust of the church.
