Changing times

There is a misleading idea that door-to-door evangelism / outreach is no longer effective in our day and time. I beg to differ with this line of thought. In the mini revival of the fifties, sixties and seventies most households had been approached at least once with the message of Jesus. I can remember people coming to our home. That generation was inundated with this approach. However, since then, a whole new generation has grown up and, sad to say, no one has bothered to share with them the life-changing message. Many have told us “we have lived here for years and you are the first ones to come.”

I want to encourage our churches to approach this field that is white unto harvest. All of us, as children of God, are first and foremost to be reaching out to the lost and hurting around us. Give it a try and you might be surprised by the results. We have found that most people are receptive to our visits. One valuable tool is a questionnaire that helps you assess the spiritual need of the individual as you ask for their input on a variety of matters. After all, everyone loves to give their opinion. These also provide needed information for a follow up visit. A former pastor used to say “if you are going to grow, then you got to go!”

From Our Missionaries:

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 51 present for Sunday School, 120 for morning worship, 89 for evening worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $2,622.

“Sunday we recognized our 2012 graduates. We have five graduating from high school and three with college degrees. Sunday night was a special service that included video presentations of the students as they have grown through the years. They were each presented with a gift card from Mardel’s, and then we had a special prayer on their behalf. The service was concluded with a finger-food fellowship. It was a very special day.”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 49 present for Sunday School, 52 for morning worship, 11 professions of faith and offerings of $1,005.

“We are rejoicing over the one that was saved during services and the 10 other souls that have come to Christ this week. The people of CMBC have been involved in reaching the lost in everyday life, on visitation and the Sign Ministry.

“I want to tell you of the new Sign Ministry we have started. We have crosses and signs with the name of Jesus on them. We stand on the side of Hwy 65 in front of the church building proclaiming Jesus. One couple who saw us Saturday made a u-turn and came back. They had a prayer request and wanted to talk with us. You know what happened to them. They received Jesus as Savior. If you would like to come share Jesus in the Sign Ministry let me know. You can call or email me at preachercmbc@artelco.com. God is blessing our efforts as we serve Him and we are seeing lives changed each week. We praise God for this. Bro. Jim and I enjoyed our time with the Fishers of Men up at Barling with Bro. Darrin. We saw many come to Christ.

“Amber and I worshiped Sunday evening with Bro. Bowman and the fine folks at Kaley Hill Baptist. We thank them for inviting us to come and share about the Mission. Please continue to pray for us. Thank you for your prayers and support.”

Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 39 for Small Group, 37 for worship service and offerings of $475.

“It was an exciting week at Connection Point. Thursday, I spent the day with the Fishers of Men in Barling, AR. It was a good day for our new mission there, AKA The Journey. We canvassed several neighborhoods in the area and made some great contacts for Bro. Darrin to follow up with.

“Sunday afternoon we had a Family Day and Cook Out at one of our folk’s place here in Brookland. We enjoyed burgers, hotdogs and smores while the kids rode horses, petted goats, played with kittens and jumped around in a giant ‘bounce house.’ It was a great day for our church family and a whole lot of fun!”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes, “What an exciting three weeks it has been in Barling, AR! Lives are being changed and souls are being saved. There have been 16 professions of faith and we have made contact with many who are searching for a place to serve the Lord. Our Bible study groups are beginning to come together and starting in June on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month we will be meeting in the City Hall.

“I want to thank the men who come from all over the state to help in outreach. The Fishers of Men is an amazing group who are not ashamed to walk the streets, share their faith and spread the Word. It is amazing to think about the miles they drove and the time it took to help. What they did would have taken months for one person to do. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord. We praise Him for what He is doing.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 80 present for morning worship, 46 for evening worship, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $2,499.

“Sunday Phil and LaJuana Knott were with us to tell of their work in Latin America with all the missionaries. I believe we need to inform our people about our BMA and what is going on to expand the Kingdom of God. They will know what we are doing and will help support them in their work as we grow toward becoming a Church. Phil brought a message that convicted us all of the importance of going out into the harvest. It was especially good to see LaJuana here with us for the first time. What servants they both are and encouragers to us missionaries. We will continue to pray for their work.

“Sunday night we had a singing night and the talent continues to show up among our people.

“Last week our Fishers of Men helped Darrin go out and tell the community about the mission in Barling. Carlton and I had the pleasure of leading three souls to Jesus. Praise the Lord.

“Please pray for us as we serve the Lord. We love you all.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 84 for morning worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $935.

“We give thanks to God for a week full of work and blessings. Sunday was a marvelous day as we saw two new disciples being baptized. We trust God that in the months to come we will continue with the same rhythm of evangelizing, discipling and baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

“Please keep us in your prayers because Satan is always working. Pray that God will give us wisdom to lead and pastor.”

In our Advisory Committee meeting last week we were encouraged by the good reports we heard from our missionaries. Since September 2011, 203 professions of faith have been reported in a total of 243 days. Praise the Lord!

Special Emphasis

We have decided to shorten our Special Emphasis time this year to two months, June and July. We felt our churches needed a break between us and the Baptist Trumpet. You will find a prayer list included in your special packet. We want you to join with us in praying for a different missionary each week. I still have several dates open and would love to come and share what God is doing through your state missions ministry. You might consider contacting one of our missionaries to come and share his work with your church or association. Our national department has challenged all of us to concentrate on planting more churches. Please join with us to help bring this to pass. With a great Special Emphasis we may be able to start at least one new work this year.

From Our Missionaries:

Arkansas Hispanic Missions: Michael Hight writes: “Thank you so much for all the cards, calls, texts, Facebook messages, hugs and shared tears last week. Saying goodbye is never easy, but the expressions of your concern made it a little easier. Dad loved the churches of the BMA and made it a point to pass that on to his children. I cannot say enough about how honored I am to serve the Lord through this association of churches. My prayer is that we will continue the vision that God planted in our hearts just a few years ago. And, that God will open new doors for us to go through and that we will have the faith to go through those doors.”

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 73 present for Sunday School, 120 for morning worship and offerings of $3,034.

“Sunday we enjoyed a Fifth Sunday potluck fellowship followed by an afternoon testimony service. It was a wonderful day. The Lord blessed us with two additions by letter.”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 58 present for Sunday School, 64 for morning worship, 6 first time visitors, 5 professions of faith and offerings of $1,201.

“Our hearts are continually being filled with joy here at CMBC as our Savior reveals His Glory week after week. Our folks are really growing in their Spiritual walk with the Lord because they are experiencing God.

“Last week started out with three of our members leading sinners to Christ in their everyday lives. As Bro. Kevin and I were returning to the church building after visiting, we led a lady, who was crossing our parking lot, to Christ. During our Wednesday night service, in the first teen class Bro. Kevin held, he led a first time visitor to Jesus. We are rejoicing over the one who joined us by baptism and the one who joined us by letter.

“Amber and I were with the fine folks at Norfork Lake Sunday night and enjoyed a great time of fellowship and worship with them. We give all the praise, honor and glory to our Lord for how He allows us to serve Him. Thank you BMA for your continued prayers and support to us.”

Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 44 for worship service, 28 for Small Group, 1 first time visitor and offerings of $1,307.

“What an incredible week at Connection Point. I met with the Missions Advisory Committee in Little Rock. It was a very positive and encouraging meeting.

“Sunday we held our New Members Orientation and had some great results. Two people joined by letter and two came for baptism. Two others attended the class and took the material home to pray about their decision. God is good and He continues to bless in some incredible ways.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes, “What a week! This week we met 38 families, 15 interested in learning more about our ministry and 9 who need to trust Jesus as Savior. We witnessed 2 professions of faith and had 11 in a Bible Study group. We put information cards on over 80 homes and followed up with some in those neighborhoods. We washed the outside of a house and baked a pie for a lady with cancer. We prayed with many who just needed it and gave them encouragement. Along with this, my family moved to Barling. We are beginning to get settled in. We rejoice at what God is doing.

“Last Wednesday morning I prayed for a person of peace to open up their home to begin another Bible study group. As I walked through our neighborhood looking for someone to witness to, two ladies were sitting in a garage. Cindy is the owner of the house and Francis was just a friend visiting. I began to share with them about Jesus and quickly discovered they did not know Jesus as Savior. They did not trust Jesus but here is what happened. Cindy asked if I needed a place to meet and opened up her home for a Bible study! She is a recovering alcoholic, who does not know Jesus, yet she opened up her home to us! Thursday we will begin another group. Cindy has already invited two families to join us and I am inviting others. What an opportunity to see many come to Christ! God is so good!”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 62 present for morning worship, 56 for evening worship, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $899.

“Last week we led a lady to the Lord at Walmart.

“Sunday night Bobby and Amber Gilmore were here. Amber brought her famous spaghetti and we ate supper before Bobby preached. Everyone had a great time and fellowship during our meal. Bobby fed us with the Word and three came to rededicate their lives unto the Lord and one got saved. They came for the spaghetti but got the real food from Jesus. What a great time in the Lord we had.

“I wish all of you could have been here these last few months to see what the Lord is doing in Mountain Home. Please pray for us and thank you for your support. We love you all.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 75 for morning worship and offerings of $743.

“We want to express our appreciation to everyone who took time from your busy schedules to support the Hight family in different ways. Our El Faro family is especially thankful for all the efforts made by Bro. I. V. Hight in helping us to have a place where we can worship our God, preach the Word of God to the Hispanic and serve our community through the clinic. What a great legacy we have to continue loving the people and preaching The Word.

“Sunday we had a great worship with praise to God and remembering that we need to continue preaching the powerful message of salvation.

“We had 75 in attendance and offering of $743. Thank you for your support for our mission. We are committed to making disciples to the third and fourth generations. May God bless you.”

El Sembrador, Warren: Javier Gonzalez reports 14 present for worship service and offerings of $72.

“Last week we shared Christ with 12 adults.”
Emmanuel, Hope: Javier Gonzalez reports 25 for Sunday School and worship service, 1 first time visitor, 15 for Thursday Bible Study and offerings of $75.

“We give thanks that one person accepted Christ last week.”

His encouragement and impact throughout the last decade has made a profound impact upon my life. His door was always open as time after time I sought his Godly council.
Exciting

A refreshing time of fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ mingled with positive and challenging business sessions made this year’s annual meeting one of the most enjoyable I have attended. One could actually feel a spirit of cooperation as we were encouraged by the vision of our department leaders for our future.

While I believe our goal (BMAA) of planting one hundred new churches in the next three years is Herculean, I also believe this can be accomplished. I presently have some projects that could possibly be started by the end of the year if we had sufficient funds. I am asking our churches to help make this a reality. Please consider being a part of this year’s special emphasis time.

Gratitude

I want to thank those who have given me the opportunity to serve this great association as your Second Vice President. Tears began to fill my eyes as I was humbled to think that you would bestow this honor upon me. I love all of you and I promise I will serve to the best of my ability. Thank you.

From Our Missionaries:

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 77 present for Sunday School, 127 for morning worship, 59 for evening worship, 4 first time visitors and offerings of $2,608.

“Sunday night we were invited to worship with Needs Creek Baptist Church near Greenbrier. I had the opportunity to share information about our mission and show some video from the Bolivian mission trip I made last summer. We had 31 represented from our congregation. I appreciate Needs Creek and the faithful support they have given. Bro. Larry Haynes preached at our church Sunday night with 28 in attendance.”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 46 present for Sunday School, 54 for morning worship, 3 first time visitors, 7 professions of faith and offerings of $945.

“We are in awe and praising our Heavenly Father for what He continues to do in Clinton. This has been an amazing last two weeks as we have had nine people saved and many lives being changed. I have to praise the Lord for using our folks in their everyday lives to bring glory to Himself. Our people are sharing Jesus with their co-workers, neighbors when shopping or eating out and sinners are coming to Christ.

“We praise God for the one saved during services last week and the five who joined by letter. We have been praying that God will send us a youth leader. He has provided that man in Bro. Kevin Clifton and his family. The Lord has led him to CMBC to lead our youth and assist in ministry where needed.

“I thank Bro. Charlie Hall for preaching for me this week after I attended the BMAA meeting last week. It is great to have people you can depend on.

“Please continue to pray for us as we serve our Lord by fulfilling His Great Commission. BMA, we thank you and love all of you. May God bless you abundantly.”

Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 64 for worship service, 12 first time visitors and offerings of $1,040.

“We have had more exciting times at Connection Point. Recently, some of the men from our church went in support of fellow State Missionary, Darrin Smith, as he spoke at the Jonesboro Association’s District Brotherhood. Bro. Darrin challenged us with a message on purity and how to keep ourselves in ‘spiritual shape.’ We continue to pray for his work in Barling.

“Saturday, Brookland had a community-wide yard sale. In an effort to be a part of the community, we packed up some of our stuff and headed down there bright and early. Well, at least early. We did not make much money, but we gave away quite a bit and made some great contacts with people. As a result, we had the opportunity to invite several to our services. Pray for us as we continue to look for ways to let our light shine in the neighborhoods in and around Brookland.

“We have started promoting an up-coming community event which we will host in May. A free class, ‘Making Cents of Your Finances’ is being offered and will be open to anyone who would like to attend. We hope this class will provide people with some solid, practical and Biblical advice on spending, budgeting and debt. We have the opportunity to promote this event on some local radio stations and may possibly be able to speak about it on a local TV station. We hope to have a big turn-out from the Brookland community at this event. We pray that as we help meet people’s ‘physical’ needs that they might allow us to help meet their ‘spiritual’ needs, as well.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes, “My heart is heavy for the loss of my mentor, friend and a man I truly respected in the ministry. Bro. I.V. Hight was someone who believed in me and gave me an opportunity to serve as a church planter. I cannot tell of the countless times that he was a big encouragement to my family. Every time he was around he would give a word of encouragement, give my wife a hug and say things to lift her up. I guess he just knew she needed it because she lived with a missionary. What a heart and compassion he had for BMA missions and the lost everywhere. We spent a lot of time together just talking about life and ministry. What he displayed to me was a man who was faithful to Christ, loved others, had integrity, had influence, was consistent in his ways, determined to make a difference (and did) and had a sense of humor. In many ways he was a man that I would like to imitate. Much more could be said. I love the Hight family very much. Thanks for allowing your husband, dad, and pawpaw to invest in me. Because of you allowing him to be a part of so many lives, his ministry will continue. In fact, it will continue until Jesus returns.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 74 present for morning worship, 35 for evening worship, 3 first time visitors, 3 professions of faith and offerings of $1,266.

“In our ‘Turn Their Eyes to Jesus’ outreach we covered some 175 homes recently. There are so many lost and un-churched people. Some turned us away at the door and others refused to listen to us. This just makes us try even harder and press toward the mark with more strength than before. Our outreach team is growing. Our two women seem to be accepted better than the men.

“My heart is hurting yet I am smiling as I think about I.V. Hight departing this earth. I talked with him Sunday and he shared with me how eager he was to be with the Lord. I know He is with Jesus, the one He loved most. Our last conversation was one of encouragement to continue the work. He had faith in me to finish the course God called me to do. How wonderful to have him as my most trusted friend. I will miss him so very much. I wish I could put into words what he meant to me. Only the Lord knows. It is a very hard goodbye in my heart, but I know we shall see him at the foot of the throne. Praise the Lord I.V. is rejoicing with the angels.

“Thank you for your prayers and support. We love you all.”

El Sembrador, Warren: Javier Gonzalez reports 35 present for worship service and offerings of $80.

“Sunday we had a double blessing in that we witnessed the marriage of two people, followed by their baptism.”

Emmanuel, Hope: Javier Gonzalez reports 24 for Sunday School and worship service, 16 for Thursday Bible Study and offerings of $60.

“Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.” (I Cor. 16:2, KJV)

What a wonderful plan, being able to share our good fortune with those around us. We will never be able to fully see or realize what benefit our giving to the Lord’s work has made in the lives of people this side of heaven. I am reminded of the Sunday School teacher whose children’s class was taking up items to send to a missionary. One poor child was sad because all she had to give was one penny that she had found on the playground. The gracious teacher thanked her for her donation and proceeded to buy a one sent tract that she placed in the box with the other things. The missionary gave the tract to a native chief who carried it back to his village.

Later, as the missionary was making his rounds he was surprised and happy that most all the people in the village had given their hearts to Christ, as a result of that one-cent tract. Giving back to the Lord should not be considered a burden, but a privilege. What might appear as an obstacle to one appears as an opportunity to another. Our understanding of the difference between an obstacle and an opportunity is in relation to our attitude toward it. Every opportunity has a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity. May we heed the admonition of the Lord: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matt. 6:20-21, KJV)

Thank you for your faithful support of state missions. Together we can make a difference.

From Our Missionaries:

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 73 present for Sunday School, 193 for morning worship, 115 for evening worship, 8 first time visitors and offerings of $2,996.

“It was an amazing Easter Sunday as we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior and Lord. We had to bring out additional chairs Sunday morning. Sunday evening we enjoyed a hamburger and hot dog cookout. The younger ones hunted eggs and we had volleyball, horseshoes, tug-of-war and wiffle ball for all ages. It was a great evening that seemed to be enjoyed by all.”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 47 present for Sunday School, 49 for morning worship and offerings of $818.

“We continue to rejoice over the lady that accepted Christ this week as her personal Savior. Our folks are really getting excited over all of the spiritual blessings we are seeing each week. Wednesday we had our first night of layman teaching. Pete taught on the responsibility of being a layperson in the church and did a great job.

“Sunday morning we all enjoyed the celebration of our Savior’s resurrection. We several folks are visiting with us at this time who are seeking God’s will in their life. We know God will continue to send us folks who will fill positions where we have a need. Please continue to pray for us and we thank you for your prayer and support.”

Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 64 for worship service, 12 first time visitors and offerings of $1,040.

“What a wonderful week we had at Connection Point. God blessed us with a record attendance for our Worship Service as we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior. We had several guests and full seats.

“We might have witnessed an Easter miracle as we had 8 people sitting in a row that had only six seats. You do not see that very often in church. Thankfully, brotherly love and deodorant prevailed and everyone seemed to have a good time.

“I want to say how grateful I am to all of our folks who worked hard and made the morning a success. Great job team! God bless you all.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes, “We continue to meet new families and learn more about the people in Barling. It is very encouraging to go places and people know who we are and why we have moved to this area.

“Two families that we are getting to know have expressed interest in becoming part of our mission. One family is saved and the other is ‘religious’ (they know about God but do not know Him). We will continue to spend time with them.

“Those who can are welcome to come May 3rd to help with a community wide survey. The ‘Fishers of Men’ will be coming to help also. This is not just for preachers, but for everyone (both men and women). If you need more information, please call Bro. Paul White or you can contact me at (501) 317-0513. Thanks for your prayer and support.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 106 present for morning worship, 34 for evening worship, 16 first time visitors and offerings of $1,392.11.

“Praise the Lord! This week has been wonderful. We started our ‘Open Their Eyes to Jesus’ outreach this week and visited over 350 homes. A 17- year old boy walking down the block got saved.

“Sunday we had three saved, three joined through baptism and one by letter. After the message, we had our Easter dinner with every great food you can think of. You all must really be praying for us and we thank you. We love you all.”

West Park, Ozark: Troy Vaughn reports 125 present for Sunday School, 300+ for morning worship, 50 first time visitors and offerings of $3,730.

“Outside we ran out of parking space and inside we had to bring in chairs but praise to the Lord for making room for the Holy Spirit. We had one profession of faith and one rededication.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 62 for morning worship and offerings of $556.

“Again we send greetings and appreciation for your prayers and support for our mission.

“Last week we had our clinic and two people accepted Christ as their personal Savior. We also enjoyed the meeting with the Hispanics in Magnolia. It was a great service. We are confident that God will permit us to see a multiplication of Hispanic churches in Arkansas. Well done Bro. David.

“Our Resurrection Celebration service was very good. We very much enjoyed the message from Bro. Bill Shirley who preached, with Jorge, Jr. translating for him. Later we had our regular service at 9 a.m. and God gave us a great time.

“Thank you for your prayers. We need them.”

El Sembrador, Warren: Javier Gonzalez reports 11 present for worship service and offerings of $110.

“Last week we were able to witness to 12 adults. Thank you for your prayers and support for our mission.”
Emmanuel, Hope: Javier Gonzalez reports 25 for Sunday School and worship service, 1 first time visitor, 15 for Thursday Bible Study and offerings of $100.

EOT Trainer Jim Swinea writes “I have two ‘Share your Faith’ trainings for this month and one for next month. I have a lot of openings and I am ready for our churches to contact me for this important training. I will come to your church on a love-offering basis if you will contact me. Lost souls are just waiting to hear about the gospel. Pastors, I am your servant to train you and your people just give me a chance. May God bless you.”

We should be thankful to be called Missionary Baptist and rightfully so. Our churches take a stand on things like Biblical inerrancy and the cardinal doctrines such as the virgin birth and salvation by grace and grace alone through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I am thankful to be a part of an association with such deep missionary roots. Our association is fortunate to have such a great group of dedicated men serving right here in the state of Arkansas. We know from God’s word that missions, both near and far, are one of the main purposes of our existence as local churches and as an association. Please consider becoming more familiar with your state missionaries.

The more our people get to know them the more excited our people will become. Why not spotlight a missionary each month? I am sure they would be glad to share with you what God is doing in their respected areas. You might even invite them to come and share with your church about their work. May we be as much their encouragers as we are their sustainers. Please pray for each of them as they serve the Lord.

From Our Missionaries:

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 56 present for Sunday School, 130 for morning worship, 42 for evening worship, 10 first time visitors and offerings of $2,815.81.

“Sunday I began a revival with Shiloh Baptist Church in McRae. I am looking forward to worshipping with them this week. I appreciate Bro. Harvey McCreary and Bro. Jimmie Poindexter for filling in for me. I heard good things about our services at Charity. We serve a wonderful Savior!”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 53 present for Sunday School, 65 for morning worship, 3 first time visitors and offerings of $874.41.

“Last week was another week that only God could make happen by His divine intervention. Thursday, as Bro. Jim and I left the church building to go into the community to share Jesus and invite folks to worship with us we noticed a man walking across our parking lot. Let me tell you, he met Jesus before he left our lot.

“We continue rejoicing over the three who joined this week. We expect God to add folks weekly.

“Sunday evening I worshipped with Bro. Kevin and the fine folks of Calvary Baptist in Heber Springs. Bro. Kevin, Pat and I went witnessing before the services and led a lady to Christ. We praise God for the souls being saved and the answered prayers.

“We are seeing lives changed as we disciple our folks and they realize that Christ makes them free. The Lord continues to send us people, which makes us realize that we need to start our building project soon. Please covet to pray for us as we continue to plan for the first phase building project.

“We say thank you from all of us at CMBC for your prayer and support.”

Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 31 present for Small Group, 43 for worship service, 4 first time visitors and offerings of $726.

“It was a great week for Connection Point. God has blessed us as we continue to build some presence in the community. Last week we were able to work with area churches and the City of Brookland as we joined together and hosted a Community-wide Easter Egg hunt. Our church provided eggs, candy and prizes for one of four age groups. We also helped with the program. We were able to meet lots of new people and have a positive impact on many children.

“Please pray that God would continue to give us opportunities to let our light shine in this community.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 65 present for morning worship, 40 for evening worship, 3 first time visitors and offerings of $2,159.17.

“We had three saved this week during our hospital visitation. Praise the Lord! We are about to start our ‘Open Their Eyes to Jesus’ campaign.

“Keep us in your prayers, we love you all.”

West Park, Ozark: Troy Vaughn reports 90 present for Sunday School, 148 for morning worship, 85 for evening worship, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $2,420.

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 85 for morning worship, 1 first time visitor and offerings of $2,300.

“It is not wrong to pray more than one, two or three times asking God for what we need, keeping in mind that we will do His will. Jesus prayed three times in Gethsemane asking if it was possible to pass the cup from Him, but if not He would follow God’s will. Obviously, Jesus knew who had to die as the perfect offering for sin. He was not asking for escape from death. This was the demand of God. Then an angel came to strengthen him. Thankfully, the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross was enough to deliver us from eternal damnation. Any sacrifice we make to take the message of salvation to the lost can never compare with the sacrifice Jesus made for you and me. Sometimes we fail to pray as many times as necessary and have faith that He will strengthen us.

“Please pray for our mission. We will have our Resurrection Service next Sunday at 6 in the morning, then a delicious breakfast after our Celebration Service.”

El Sembrador, Warren: Javier Gonzalez reports 12 present for worship service and offerings of $35.

“Last week we visited four homes and witnessed to 13 adults.”

Emmanuel, Hope: Javier Gonzalez reports 24 for Sunday School and worship service, 1 first time visitor, 15 for Thursday Bible Study and offerings of $100.

We launched the ‘Fishers of Men’ outreach ministry this year and due to the success of our first ‘trail outing’ at Brookland we are enlisting recruits. If you would like to receive a blessing, as well as be one of the team, give me a call. Those men who went out that day really made a difference not only by canvassing the area but to the missionary himself who was moved by the men he did not even know who cared enough to come. Remember this is not just for preachers but for any man who has a burden for lost souls and a love for missions. Your church might even form a group. I know our missionaries can depend on you.

Prayer
Next month the Advisory Committee and I will be meeting with all of our missionaries for our annual spring meeting. We will be hearing the heart and needs of each one. The committee and I have a lot of things to consider as we move forward. Pray that God will give us wisdom to know His will.

From Our Missionaries:

Charity, Ward: Keith Lewis reports 56 present for Sunday School, 106 for morning worship, 80 for evening worship, 3 first time visitors and offerings of $2,908.71.

“It was Spring Break last week for our area schools. For the most part the weather has been amazing.

“Our services were blessed Sunday with four additions. We baptized one and received three by letter. God continues to be so good to us. We give all the praise and glory to Him!”

Clinton, Clinton: Bobby Gilmore reports 42 present for Sunday School, 46 for morning worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $883.

“We are rejoicing over the one that joined us this week. Several others who have been visiting are praying for the Lord’s will.

“Last week we made several visits in the community with some promising results. In fact, some of them were back this week, along with others who visited for the first time. God is blessing our efforts as we serve Him. We see lives changed each week and we praise Him for this.

“Several of our men enjoyed a time of fellowship eating breakfast at First Baptist, Damascus Saturday morning. We thank them for including us.

“Please continue to pray for us. Thank you for your prayer and support.”
Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 33 present for Small Group, 38 for worship service and offerings of $407.

“We have completed our first month of weekly worship services, and it has certainly been exciting. We have had some successes and made some mistakes, but it has definitely been fun.

“We are looking forward to the things we have planned for the spring. We are helping to host a community-wide Easter egg hunt this week. We are excited about our Easter service in April. And, a Spring Cleaning event is being planned for the community of Brookland. Our first New Member’s Class is also scheduled for later in the month.

“Pray that we will make the most of every opportunity God gives us.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 63 present for morning worship, 33 for evening worship, 4 first time visitors and offerings of $1,294.

“Last week I was at a revival at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. From the singing all the way through the entire revival we could feel the Holy Spirit moving. Jerry Clements and I went soul winning and led a man to Jesus. Two more were saved during the revival. I cannot tell you enough about the love that church has for souls. The associate pastor, Scott Small, has a way with people and I see wonderful things happening in this place. What a great week to see and know the people that help us so very much.

“We love you all and thank you for your prayers.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes: “Research is fundamental and extremely helpful when you want to reach a community with the Gospel message. Last week Brad Harris, Pastor of Prairie Grove, Prairie Grove, and I were in a local grocery store in Barling doing a survey to learn more about what our target audience is thinking, what motivates them and what is important to them. While we did not get the number of responses we had hoped for, the information we received will help us make objective decisions (based on research rather than instinct or opinion) and point us in the direction we need to go. Assumptions are not enough. We want to devote our time to things we know our community wants and needs instead of things we think they want and need. After the survey I went to a local restaurant and had a ‘round table discussion’ with five people from Barling about the responses we had received. The responses were amazing. There are definitely some needs for us to meet in this community. We will be gathering additional information and we need your help. The Fishers of Men will be coming to help us in early May. If you would like to help you can contact Paul White.”

West Park, Ozark: Troy Vaughn reports 88 present for Sunday School, 145 for morning worship, 78 for evening worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $2,215.

“Six men from West Park traveled through the island of Panay in the Philippines last week. We followed in the footsteps that Bro. Don Newsome had made many years ago to God’s remote outpost in Lublub and St. Augustine located in the Antique Mountains. The Lord has blessed these people by allowing no roads to be built and we are praying that there never will be any built. The Lord rewarded us in allowing us to witness over 200 professions of faith.

“Also a big thanks to Bro. Darrin Smith for filling in at West Park while I was away.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 96 for morning worship, 4 first time visitors and offerings of $420.

“God continues to manifest His grace, love and mercy for our mission. Each week is a victory when we see families entering the House of God to worship, glorify and exalt Him with all their hearts.

“Sunday we had a beautiful service and really rejoiced in His presence. We had a record attendance and three people accepted Christ as their personal Savior.

“We continue to need your prayers. The good results are the fruit of your prayers and the work they are doing in our disciples making disciples. Glory to God! Our goal for each member of our mission is to reproduce themselves until we have four generations of disciples.

“May God bless you.”

El Sembrador, Warren: Javier Gonzalez reports 24 present for worship service and 9 first time visitors.

“We rejoice for the soul that was saved last week. We visited three houses and talked with 14 people about Christ.”

Emmanuel, Hope: Javier Gonzalez reports 29 for Sunday School and worship service, 12 for Thursday Bible Study and offerings of $60.

Revival
I was privileged to be in revival services with New Liberty in Emmet and to get to know their pastor, James Cox. We had a great time in the Lord each night and I enjoyed getting the opportunity to make new friends.

Share Time
Sunday morning I shared the work of State Missions and preached at Shiloh near Waldo. Kenneth Ward is doing a wonderful job there. I enjoyed our time together and at the close of the service they presented State Missions with a very generous offering. Good folks combined with a sweet spirit together and a fellowship at noon made for a wonderful day.

Fishers of Men
This last week we have added to our “Fishers of Men” team. I want every layperson and every pastor to pray about being a part of this ministry. Those who are interested in sharing the gospel, helping out missionaries and fellowshipping with other soul-conscience men, please contact me for more information. We will be announcing our next fishing trip soon.

Notification
This year we have decided to omit May in our Special Emphasis campaign to give our churches a break. This year Special Emphasis for State Missions will be June and July. I have several dates open and would love to come and share your mission’s ministry with you. I also encourage you to invite one of our state missionaries to come to your church to share and preach. It would be a great encouragement to them and a blessing to your people.

Update
At present your missionaries are averaging over five professions of faith per week. Praise The Lord!

From Our Missionaries

Clinton Missionary, Clinton
Bobby Gilmore reports 38 present for Sunday School, 46 for morning worship, 6 first time visitors, 2 professions of faith and offerings of $460.

“God continues to save souls and change lives here in Clinton. We are rejoicing because we had the privilege of seeing a man and woman come to Christ this week as we reached out to the lost. We are also rejoicing about the couple who joined us by letter. They had visited for awhile and felt the Lord leading them to be a part of this mission.

“I was in revival with Lifesong Baptist Church this week where Freddie Mark Wilcox is the pastor. We are very excited about what God did throughout the week in the hearts of His people. I thank them for inviting me to be with them. They sure did bless Amber and me with their love, fellowship and support. To top things off, at the close of the service Wednesday night I baptized five of our folks that had been saved and Bro. Freddie Mark baptized two of his folks. It was pretty lively in there as we baptized all of them. In fact, we had a shouting and clapping good time. We love you fine folks and ask that you continue to pray as we seek our Lord’s guidance.”
Connection Point, Brookland: Chad White reports 28 present for small group, 35 for worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $140.

“It was a good week at Connection Point as God continues to bless our infant church. I had several opportunities to visit with people in the community this week and several folks had a positive response to my invitation to attend. We are currently working to help host a community-wide Egg Hunt in Brookland at the end of the month. We are also making plans to have a Financial Planning class for people in the area in the near future.

“Please continue to pray for us as we try to be the church in our schools, neighborhoods, workplaces and community.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 70 present for morning worship, 40 for evening worship, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $1,208.

“What a week we’ve had! Tuesday night we went to Brotherhood at Bethany Baptist Church and had a wonderful time. Their pastor, Robert Gunnels, told me they had voted to give their pews to us and informed me that night. Then after I gave my report, I asked if we could get some help getting them to Mountain Home. To my surprise, Greg Clark, pastor of Central Baptist Church and the men at Truman loaded and delivered them with his truck Friday. I know Bethany and Central will be blessed for their hearts for Missions.

“Tuesday, we had a 17-year-old get saved and the whole mission got happy. My wife, Martha, is feeling better thanks to prayers. If you will count on the Lord for His provisions, in due time they will come. Thank you again for the love everyone has for this mission work here. We love you.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 86 present for Sunday School and for morning worship, 4 first time visitors and offerings of $436.

“Thank God, He gave us a very good week. It is marvelous to see on Wednesday the brothers from the church. They are learning about God from the babies to the kids, teenagers and adults that are in the Bible institute. Sunday, we had four people who visited the church for the first time. One of them accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Thank you for praying for us and for supporting our mission.”

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Eccl. 3:1)

As I travel, I have noticed how the trees begin to bud and the grass begins to turn green, and I am reminded that God has allowed us another spring to enjoy. Fields are being prepared and seeds are being planted. Over a period of time I notice the plowed fields begin to change as tender plants begin to break the surface, reaching for all they are worth for the precious and needed sunshine that nurtures growth. Patiently the farmer has waited, believing that in due time all of his hard work will be rewarded.

I have never found anything that better describes the planting of a new church. We pray and seek God’s leadership (which field to plant.) We join together to provide the laborer (missionary) as God provides the seed (the precious Word.) We send the laborer into the field, then we begin to pray for the harvest.

I must admit I am not a very patient person. Like Jack in Jack And The Bean Stalk, I want to plant the seed today and be able to climb on it tomorrow. But it doesn’t happen that way. The fertilizer of blood, sweat and tears must be applied over and over. There are days of sunshine and there are days of dark clouds and rain, but each is necessary if the crop is to grow. God’s Word tells us there is a seed time that will always procede the harvest.

I am happy to announce that all our current crops are healthy. Our missionaries are to be commended for their faithful service to this association. Every one of them have their heart in their ministry. Please pray that the God of the increase will continue to bless our efforts as we seek to serve Him.

From Our Missionaries

Arkansas Hispanic Missions
Michael Hight writes: “First of all I want to thank you for all the calls and concern you have expressed for me and my family. My daughter is getting better and dad is out of the hospital and back home. Your interest has been a blessing and an inspiration for us all.

“As far as our work goes, God continues to bless. We are moving forward with the church plant in Saline County in partnership with Park Place Baptist Church. We are in the ‘submerge’ phase of the church plant and are doing a lot of leg work behind the scenes. We are building relationships, having home Bible studies, locating partners and ‘persons of peace.’ We are developing our launch team and a strategic timeline for moving toward public services.

“Please keep us in your prayers! I cannot stress that enough. Satan is already at work to discourage us, and we need the fervent prayers of God’s people to help us make Christ known within this community.

“Saturday, I was with the North Arkansas Baptist Association. They have committed to bringing a missionary into the Batesville area. Jose’s papers are now in the hands of immigration. Please pray that they will be approved. We have invested a lot of time and money in this project and are convinced that the Lord is in it. I look forward to seeing how God will use this family once they arrive from Honduras.”

Keith Lewis reports 61 present for Sunday School, 114 for morning worship, 64 for evening worship and offerings of $3,136.76.

“Last week, I attended our Spring Missionary Retreat and Pastors R&R held at StoneRidge Baptist Camp. As always, they were a blessing and I came back spiritually and physically refreshed. We had good preaching, good fellowship and good food. I am thankful we can have good times like this.”

Clinton Missionary, Clinton
Bobby Gilmore reports 41 present for Sunday School, 43 for morning worship, 2 first time visitors, 2 professions of faith and offerings of $1,065.

“This has been another week of amazement that only our Lord could accomplish. A couple of our men and I were able to go to Smithville to the R&R this week for a very spiritual time. I sure enjoyed the great preaching, fellowship and food that were provided to us. Sunday morning, Paul and Vicki White came to worship with us, and Bro. Paul really gave us the Word of God as he preached.

“We continue to rejoice over the two teenage girls that were saved during services Sunday morning and then wanted to join by baptism.

“Sunday night, Amber and I were with Lifesong Baptist Church in Greenbrier where Freddie Mark Wilcox had invited me to preach the revival services. We look forward to what the Lord is going to do over the next few days. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we seek the Lord’s direction in everything we do.”

Connection Point, Brookland
Chad White reports 29 present for small group, 37 for worship, 11 first time visitors and offerings of $1,055.

“It was a busy week, filled with both joy and sorrow at Connection Point. In the joy category, we celebrated the birth of two beautiful, healthy babies within our church family. One was born on Monday and the other was born Wednesday. I told someone that we were growing our church the hard way. I was also privileged to attend some ‘in-service’ training with my fellow State Missionaries this week. It was both encouraging and helpful.

“However, our week was also touched with sadness as we held a Memorial Service for a four-month-old infant in our building. We were thankful that God allowed us to minister to this family in their time of need.

“God continues to bless us and challenge us every week. I also say a special, ‘Thank You’ to the Mount Vernon District Brotherhood for their generous gift to our work. May God bless you all.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home: Hershel Conley reports 42 present for morning worship, 32 for evening worship, 1 first time visitor and offerings of $1,351.35.

“Storms and heavy rain came just about church time and with others sick and some forgetting the time change, we were down in number. Saturday, I married a couple here at the mission and after the ceremony I visited with some of their relatives and led a father and his 27-year-old son to the Lord.

“Sunday night, one of our newest members preached for us. Bill and Elizabeth moved here because of this mission. Bill brought a message that touched us all and it is wonderful to have another preacher here who is willing to help. Please pray for us as we search out the lost and unchurched. We love you all.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes, “Another great week on the field. We enjoyed meeting 15 new people and being able to share with them about our ministry. We were able to follow up with some who have expressed interest in learning more about what we are doing. We had four different small groups that met with us at different times and another six who met with me at a local restaurant.

“We are making some very positive connections. People are now giving us names to go and visit. There are many needs here in Barling. Next week we will be going out and sharing the gospel. Pray that we will see people come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.”

El Faro, Little Rock: Jorge Vasquez reports 75 present for Sunday School and morning worship and offerings of $1,142.

“God bless each one of you. We trust in God that you have had a good weekend. We had a good meeting with a good attendance despite the change in time. Always ask your prayers to favor, our brothers and sisters in our mission, and send power for the preaching of His Word. We are in a series of spiritual battles of the believer, but the truth is a reality every day.”

From Our Missionaries

Charity, Ward
Keith Lewis reports 75 present for Sunday School, 138 for morning worship, 83 for evening worship and 3 first time visitors.

“The Lord blessed us with amazing services throughout our revival. Travis Plumlee was used of the Lord in a mighty way. Many personal commitments were made and we rejoice that the Lord added one by baptism and one by statement. Kelley had the privilege of leading a young lady to the Lord following he service Wednesday evening as well. The Spirit of revival continued into our Sunday service as another lady united with us by baptism. Sunday night we baptized two and observed the Lord’s Supper. It was a blessed day!”

Clinton Missionary, Clinton
Bobby Gilmore reports 38 present for Sunday School, 46 for morning worship, 4 first time visitors, 3 professions of faith and offerings of $948.

“It has been an amazing week for us to see how sovereign our Master is. We praise God for the souls He saved and the one He had to join us by baptism.

“The Lord is doing the miraculous in Clinton by sending folks back who started with us and adding to the church weekly.

“Bro. Jim and I had a great time Thursday over at Connection Point with Bro. Chad and all the other men who were fishing for men. It was awesome to see the Lord save several souls. He allowed us to have many great visits inviting people to Connection Point.

“We covet your prayers and love you fine folks of the BMA.”

Connection Point, Brookland
Chad White reports 25 present for Small Group, 42 for worship, 5 professions of faith, 9 first time visitors and offerings of $1,056.

“It was a good week to be part of Connection Point. Last Tuesday we mailed out almost 1,500 invite cards for our Launch Service. Thursday the Fishers of Men team came up and helped to canvas some neighborhoods in our area. We passed out almost 600 invite cards for our current sermon series. (It was a blessing to work with these men.)

“Sunday, God blessed us with several first time guests and a good service. We thank everyone who prayed for and worked with us this past week.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home
Hershel Conley reports 59 present for morning worship, 38 for evening worship, 1 first time visitor and offerings of $2,427.

“What a week for us. Last week Carlton and I went with a team of men, ‘Fishers of Men’ and visited 97 homes for Connection Point Mission. Chad White was all grins as we left to canvas the area. In the next to the last home, just before we broke for lunch, we led two ladies to Jesus. What a privilege to be with this elite group of men and see how the Lord blesses. I am sure after seeing the fruit we will be busy.

“Sunday night we baptized one teenager and another teen got saved during services. Praise the Lord! Thank you for your support. We love you all and covet your prayers.”

The Journey, Barling, Darrin Smith writes: “We had another great week getting to know more people in this community. I visited several local businesses and met some of the workers and owners. There were four couples and two young men who indicated an interest in learning more about this ministry. Only five out of these seem to understand what it means to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. I will be spending some more time with them this week. This is the start of our first group and seeing people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Pray for us as we continue looking for opportunities to minister to this community.”

El Faro, Little Rock
Jorge Vasquez reports 85 present for Sunday School and for morning worship, 2 first time visitors and offerings of $1,445.

“We thank God for giving us a good week in our mission, El Faro. Some of our regular people have had trials and attacks by our enemy, Satan. We ask for your prayers in their favor that they will be strong and choose to continue growing in their faith.

“Our group being discipled continues to grow and go forward. Our children’s program is also growing.

“Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. May God bless you.”

I heard of a young solider who wanted so much to be the best in his company. On his first day of training they were taught how to march. His sergeant told them “you must stay focused on what you are doing. Place your eyes 15 degrees above the horizon and just listen for my commands or you will find many things that will distract you.” The young private thought to himself how easy this was going to be. But as they began he raised his legs up nearly to his chest trying to prove he was a good marcher. The sergeant gently raised his head and admonished him. “Don’t let the desire to show off distract you. True marching is not about show but about putting one foot in front of the other, keeping in sync with my commands.” Time after time he would mess up. His steps were too fast or too short and one time he failed to stop when the company was told to halt. What he was learning was that keeping focused was a moment by moment battle. It is so easy to get distracted. “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12; KJV)

I think many of us can relate to this young solider. We want to do good, yet we are so easily distracted by all that is taking place around us. Next time you get out of step with God remember to listen and focus on what and who is important. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;” (Hebrews 12:2; KVJ)

From Our Missionaries

Charity, Ward
Keith Lewis reports 79 present for Sunday School, 142 for morning worship, 158 for evening worship, 6 first time visitors and offerings of $3,859.43.

“Sunday began our revival with Travis Plumlee serving as our evangelist. Sunday night we had the Central Baptist College Choir and the CBC Singers with us. They did an amazing job. It was a very special day. We are looking forward to great things from the Lord this week as our revival progresses.”

Clinton Missionary, Clinton
Bobby Gilmore reports 47 present for Sunday School, 48 for morning worship, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $963.00.

“We pray that the Lord will guide and direct us in every step that we take for Him here at CMBC and He is doing that. We could feel the excitement as we gathered for prayer meeting and other services Sunday morning to exalt Christ. We rejoice over the young mother who was saved during services and then wanted to join by baptism. She had been invited by Jessica and the church began praying diligently for her to be saved. We expect the Lord to do something each week that only He can do and He does.

“We are excited that the architect has the plans completed for the first phase of our building. They are hanging on a wall in the building where we are meeting and we are praying that God will provide the finances for us to be able to begin construction around May. The Lord is saving many souls here and adding people to us, so we know He will take care of all our needs.

“We covet your prayers. If you are in the area drop by for a visit.”

Connection Point, Brookland
Chad White reports 33 present for Small Group, 38 for worship service, 5 first time visitors and offerings of $945.

“Last week was spent making ready for our Launch Service on March 4. We had over 2,600 invitations printed to promote our Launch Service and upcoming sermon series. We have a new website design and have been working to get it ready to go live this week.

“Sunday we had a wonderful day with first-time guests in our worship service as well as our small groups. We have also been praying every day as a group, for God’s blessing on our launch and the days that will follow. I ask you to join us in this prayer and make a special effort to lift up our mission to God this week.”

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home
Hershel Conley reports 55 present for morning worship, 40 for evening worship and offerings of $1,007.35.

“Last week a 14 year old boy was saved Wednesday night after church. He wishes to join by baptism. Also, Sunday night, our teens took care of all the cooking and led our worship service. Ryan started off with prayer request and then they took turns leading in song. The boy that gave his talk did a good job delivering his message. His name is Hershel. I thought only I could have that name. He is searching for direction from the Lord and I do believe he will get his answer.

“We have countless numbers who are sick. Tomorrow I go to the hospital with Jerry for some heart work. Please pray for us as we serve the risen Savior. It feels so good to know you are praying for us. Thank you and we love you.”

The Journey, Barling: Darrin Smith writes: “It has been another great week in Barling. We continue to see different opportunities for ministering to this community.

“I had a wonderful time with Bro. George Reddin this week. He is a great man of God with a big heart for Denver Street Baptist Church. We spent some quality time together praying and encouraging each other. Also, we had an opportunity to go out and witness. We had one who trusted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Pray for Meagan as she begins her walk with God.

“Sunday morning my family enjoyed being with Denver Street in worship. They were such a blessing to us. That night we were with the First Baptist Church in Galena, KS. Bro. Jeff Swartz and the congregation are amazing. We left really encouraged, excited and loved. If you need a blessing go to Galena and worship with this group of believers. It is worth the trip. Continue to lift us up in prayers.”

West Park, Ozark
Troy Vaughn reports 112 present for Sunday School, 180 for morning worship, 8 first time visitors and offerings of $2,972.

“Last week we reported that several were seeking God’s will for their lives. We had answered prayers this week as two of those joined by letter. Thank you for your prayers. Don’t let up.”

El Faro, Little Rock
Jorge Vasquez reports 55 present for Sunday School, 88 for morning worship and offerings of $800.

El Sembrador, Warren:
Javier Gonzalez reports 12 present for worship service and offerings of $20. “We visited three houses this week and a total of ten adults.”

Emmanuel, Hope
Javier Gonzalez reports 25 present for Sunday School and worship service, 15 for Thursday night Bible Study and offerings of $105.
